jack has recently been demonstrating a grasp of relational concepts.

no, not relativity ... i mean, he did count the other day and all, but he's no baby einstein. get a grip, people!

this morning he was doing a calisthenic demonstration of up/down ... crouching low and then springing up, hands in the air like he just didn't care.

and a new favorite ... forward/backward. mommy calls, "backward!" and he chugs along in reverse. "stop! forward!" and he takes off ahead again.

not einstein ... but methinks this kid's no potted plant.
