apologies to the blog faithful who took mommy at her word when she said, "'til tuesday." it's wednesday. i'm aware of that. but there was just so much weekend to update that it took longer than anticipated. and, there is more to come ... but for now, some highlights:
thursday found jack, mommy and daddy leavin' on a jet plane -- headed to hotlanta!
and we do mean hot. it was broiling. but despite the swelter, jack had a great time visiting with his grandparents and aunt & uncle, and playing with his cousins (and his cousins' toys!).
they had so many fun toys, jack didn't know which one to play with first. so, instead ... he tried to play with all of them at once!
another highlight of the trip: doggies! aunt amy & uncle bill's two large pups were favorites of jack's. he's not used to animals actually liking him. he started out bribing with food ...
and soon they were the best of friends!
we all had a great time at the atlanta's children's museum where there was so much to do!
and it was nice to take a break and just hang out with the boys. right, cuz?
it was a wonderful long weekend and we're so glad to have created those memories and shared that time!
after another good flight, jack is now back home.
and we're already looking forward to our next visit with daddy's crazy clan!
